Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy services in the Early Years Program are provided in an individualized, group-based, and consultative structure to support children in developing essential skills needed to engage in meaningful school-based activities to promote their engagement and participation throughout the school day. Students receive personalized occupational therapy sessions as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP), ensuring targeted interventions that address their unique developmental needs.
All students participate in a weekly fine motor group, providing a structured yet engaging environment to learn and practice a variety of skills alongside their peers. This group setting promotes social interaction, turn-taking, and collaborative learning while engaging in a range of fun and exploratory activities. These diverse experiences help build confidence and foundational skills necessary for greater independence in preschool and beyond.
